I tried to view this inp, recorded with TGmame35b3, but all I could see is a game that ends before the end of the first level. I'm sure I did something wrong, but what?

Play it back with sound off. If it still doesn't work... um... try it again. Metal Slug is pretty fickle when it comes to playing back correctly. That recording WAS verified in the last MARP tourney.
