Right now while you are thinking about it; go get your checkbook and/or any other thing that you write the date in or on, put 2002 in the year space for at least the first 10 or so entries. Why not put up the new calendar while your at it.

Can't put the new calendar up yet because it will bring bad luck during the new year if you put it up before it's time

Where's everyone getting these calendars? Every place I deal with quit giving them out. Feed store used to have a big one with pictures of tractors or farm equip. Same way at the small stores and businesses. The drug store used to have the St. Joseph calenders. Too expensive I guess. Will have to breakdown and buy one, thats a good idea Mitch about writting the date on a few checks. Everyone have a Happy New Year Bill

Our State Farm Insurance Agent had a choice of 2 types. Maybe other insurance companies are giving them out also.

Stop in, or call and inquire.

Got a beautiful calandar from the oil man with Maine scenes. But not many places are giving out calandars anymore. We had one given to us as a Christmas present also.

Good idea to go mark those checks. Seems I always end up putting the wrong year for a week or two. I got my calander from the oriental food store this year. Big calander with pretty pictures of Emperors' gardens, pagodas, and parks with delicate looking boats floating on the lakes. Last year? Great american byways. Heck, maybe the boot of the month next year.

Well, the good news is it's easy to change a '1' into a '2' anyhow.
