Old logging railroads in Northern Arizona

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Shortline, Narrow Gauge and Industrial Railroading : One Thread

Do you know if any resources that would help me trace the history of the old narrow gauge railroads used here for logging purposes in from the 1880's to 1930's? I am interested in researching this topic extensively but cannot find much information. PS this is a new address for me, if it does mnot work try talboom@qwest.net.

Find a copy of George Hilton's "American Narrow Gauge Railroads." It is still in print and actually shows up on the shelves of popular booksellers like Barnes and Noble. It has several pages on Arizona narrow gauge roads.
