"Mitche's Angles" to the rescue girls!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

I just recieved a used Magic Chef breadmachine, without the instructions: there is a timer readout with up and down buttons, three action buttons; Select, Crust (lmd), Start/Stop. Then a list of 8 with indicaters, listing basic, rapid, sweet, french, cake, whole wheat, dough, and bake, ...now what do I do with them? Kindergarden version please.

Hello Mitch,

I can't help you with the Magic Chef specifically ( I have a Black & Decker), but Yahoo groups has a talk list called bread-machine that is very active and helpful. Tons of recipes, and other useful information. Maybe someone there can give you the directions that you're looking for. Good Luck.

Mitch, If I remember right, you add your ingredients. Always add liquids first,(water does need to be warm) then I go with the dry and I usually poke an indention in the center and place my yeast there. Then you should select the type of bread(usually the basic does good for most)then select if you want your crust-light,medium or dark. Then you should be able to push start and it should automaticly start the bread cycle. I has been a couple of years since I had my Magic Chef but if this doesn't help let me know . I am sure I can find someone with one and copy their instruction booklet for you!Good luck and God BLess
