Anyone have "Stringy" String Bean Seeds?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
Does anyone have old variety string bean seeds that produce string beans with "strings"? My grandchildren don't understand why they are called string beans--and I'd like to get a few seeds so they can plant some stringy string beans. (3-6 plants would be sufficient, so I'm just looking for a FEW seeds). The children are homeschooled and our garden is a learning project (for all).

Kentucky Wonder is a good stringy bean. When snapping you will have a string as long as the bean is. jim
