The bad news is that today is the first day of winter. The good news is that today is the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year (Happy Saturnalia). For the next six months, the days will wax longer. Let the sun shine in.

The weather here is good; 41 deg F, clear and dry. Light snow due Sunday, just in time for my drive to Bloomington. (If I see Diane J. Squire, I'll give her a Christmas goose from whomever requests).
