please can someone tell me any problems of Freud conducting "action research" in his study of Little Hans' phobia?

Since this was a treatment case rather than research, it's hard to answer directly. For a discussion of issues with the case, a fairly recent analysis is the book chapter by Anna Ornstein, "Little Hans: His Phobia and His Oedipus Complex" in Barry Magid (Ed.), Freud's Case Studies: Self-Psychological Perspectives (The Analytic Press, 1993). The chapter includes references for a few other analyses of the case. If I had to answer this question I would run a lit search on both PsycInfo and Medline, as Medline often indexes psychoanalytic journals not included in PsycInfo. Still, one is not likely to find the case discussed as "action research."
