Any suggestions for a new homepage?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Troll-free Private Saloon : One Thread

It seems Excite is continuing to revamp/downgrade their services. My homepage was turned upside-down today and resembles some type of Hollywood fluff marketing.

My old homepage was fairly no nonsense with news headlines, college basketball news, weather for various cities and Apple news.It was a personalized page so that format, colors and content were defined by me.Another one bites the dust.

Any great idea's?

Hey cap'n,

I use Yahoo, which seems like a good bet, although I've just used it for a pic so far.

Yahoo lets you customize your own "My Yahoo" page with anything you need including stock quotes, your daily horoscope, even an appointment calendar. I'm very happy with it.

what i@think and I have the same home page: BLANK. :)

I never know where I want to go today (which frustrates Bill Gates terribly), so I start with a blank and then hit a bookmark, depending on how I feel at the moment.

Of course, if you really want the ultimate home page, you should use this. You don't really need anything else.
