I looked up and noticed a nice lookin young man approachin me. He had seemed to come out of nowhere and was headed toward where I was at home. On foot, he moseyed on into our yard and while smiling, spoke and asked how I was. I told'm I was just fine to come set a spell and rest. He was a most enjoyable young man and I really was impressed at his manners. He was also very knowledgable about bunches of things but was not overbearing with that knowledge--didn't sound or act like a "big shot" or "know-it-all". Very gentle and accomodating-seemed interested in what I was doing in life. This man was the type we all hear about but very seldom meet. The kind of man you'd like to be like, would want you own boys to be like, the type you'd want your daughters to marry.

We visited for quite awhile and he finally asked me if I'd like to come visit him. I told'm "yeah" if I was ever around where he lived. I then asked'm just where DID he live. He said "I'll take you there if you have the time". I didn't have time to anwer! Immediately I was at a real "homey" place. His house was just like one I'd want, furnished just like I'd like it, the most lovely and beautiful flowers, grass and pets you could imagine. I wandered around his place for awhile admiring and enjoying all his "stuff" including every imaginable wood working and mechanical tool ever built. I also noticed there was no reference to Jesus Christ anywhere in sight. It started to "dawn" on this old hillbilly that things were just not like they should've been.

I asked'm why no reference to Jesus Christ or Almighty God was present anywhere. He answered "because I'm satan, that's why"! I think I knew it already anyhow but it still was a shock!!! I told him to send me back home--NOW! This young good lookin man had really hornswaggled me--I treated him like I would've any visitor that came to my house and if I hadn't known the Word while at his house--I would've been in deep trouble. Before sending me back home he had asked me to consider joinin up with him and I'd have all that I wanted in the way of possessions. Reminded me of the verse--"Jesus-if you are Gods son-tell that stone to turn into a loaf of bread and eat".

"Man does not live by bread alone but from the very words that proceedeth out of the mouth of Almighty God"! Thank God I knew the Word enought to not fall for this "eternity changing" event. I told'm I was VERY happy with my decision of following Jesus Christ and would NEVER change my mind.

The next thing I realized I was back home -settin just where I had been, doin what I was doin when he showed up.

Folks this happened to me this very night. A dream? You can answer that yourself---but---I'm more sure now than ever before that he will do whatever he can to deceive the "elect of Almighty God". I'm not any more special than you or anybody else but if he almost deceived me-- what about some poor folks that aren't constantly on guard for such actions from the devil? The Word says he will appear as an angel of Light. He did!!

Thank You Jesus for dying for my sins and thank You for the Word! Without the Word I would've been swayed to, unknowingly, follow satan because of his generous offer of "stuff". old hoot. Matt.24:44
