I know this is a forum for EOS camera, but I would like to know if anyone has this scanner and what do you think of the quality from neg. and slide? Or please lead me to the right forum to ask this question. Thanks, Gabe

I bought one and I can't believe they get so little press. Canon marketing need a kick up the rear. I have negs I have now realised have scratches(inflicted by poor handling at labs) but didn't show up in lab prints. The 4000 gives much better detail they a normal enlarger and shows detail you didn't know was there. I would not have believed it. Add photoshop and you need to look again at all your old negs. Negs scan better than transparencies (with all scanners).
