Happy birthday FRLians!
-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), December 10, 2001.
((((FRLians))))Wow, I just can't believe we've only been friends for 3 years! It's enough to make me grateful for Y2K ;-)
-- Tricia the Canuck (jayles@telusplanet.net), December 10, 2001.
Three years. . . So much has happened in that time. Many friends made; some met, others still to be. Good times, sad times, hang loose times, pull together times. . . We share them all.And it all occurred because each of us had the very good fortune to just happen to click on a link taking us to a place we'd never been, and in doing so, we were able to meet a most remarkable assemblage of people. How very serendipitous! How very wonderful. . .
Whoda thunkit? :-)
Long Live the FRL! (((((FRLians)))))
-- Brooke (HappinessAndLoveAbides@Hill.top), December 12, 2001.
Wellll, technically, the FRL'ians are three, and I'm ........... ummmm ...... 12-09-2001-12-09-1955 (take away the 13, carry the 3, add the missing leap year times the Plieadiaes meteor shower, subtract the federal deficit and add the interest I've earned in the Social Security....)I'm 21!
-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), December 12, 2001.
I'm 21!LOL, Robert! Happy Belated Birthday!!
Now, inquiring minds need to know: Can the same mathemutatical formulary be applied to a January birthday? If so, I'm fixin' to be 22! Hey. . .cool! Not sure how I'll explain having a 24 year old daughter, but I'll work out the details later. . . ;-)
-- Brooke (SomehowIDon't"Get"ThisNEWMath@Hill.top), December 12, 2001.
Happy b'day (Belated Birthday), Robert! How nice to see you again, Brooke! Hope all is well.

We of the FRLOur members, nonpareil
We're prone to goof
And rib, and spoof
You know, I think we're swell
-- Brooke (RunawayRhyming@Hill.top), December 18, 2001.
Miss Brooke,By "Our members, nonpareil ...."
Are you, perchance and for all intents and porpoises, implying that we are not straight.... that we are crooked (rather than cooked or cooking)..... or that (some of) us are pleasantly curvaceous?
-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), December 19, 2001.
Now discussing curves can be stickyDescribing them "PC" quite tricky
By "Pleasantly curvaceous"
Do you mean instead, salacious?
Or am I just being very picky?
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
"Let's see", said she of the rhyme
'Have we crooks?', as did Robert opine?
My intention was clear!
I think all here are dear
Even moreso as I sip on my wine!
-- Brooke (Happiness@Hill.top), December 20, 2001.
Limericks bring a smile to my face. :-)
Brooke writes them with style and grace.
Does the 'master' still rhyme?
It's been a LONG time...
No one could ever take his place.
-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), December 20, 2001.
Lettuce sea whetherIs it popular for perch
To Fish or cut bait?
-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), December 21, 2001.
That obviously had nothing to do with anything in particular, but what the heck .......I'm supposed to be writing a proposal for some research for the Air Force, so somebody should yell at me and tell me to do it ......
Anybody have the phoney number (or email address) of the B-52 tailgunner ... ole SOB? Got a couple of questions for him.
-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), December 21, 2001.
buffgun@hotmail.com is what it used to be.
-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), December 21, 2001.
The "Master" I'll never usurp"It's rubbed off on me, though", she chirped
His words now have the guise
Of being just for my eyes
And I'm selfish that way; it's a quirk!
-- Brooke (HearsLoveSongs@Hill.top), December 21, 2001.
Hum,A few people were sending me e-mails at my "old" one so thought I'd look in and say Merry Christmas to all FRLians.
Have a Happy New Year 2002! (Whod'a thunk it three years later?)
Blessings.
Robert, Gayla, Trish, Rob... you can guess who I am and can figure out how to say hello. *Grin* I've been having fun living life since the old TBY2K shut down. Those were some wild daze, eh?
*Smile*
Be well.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all FRLdom, including our long lost Great FRLian Seeress (at least that's who I think just posted ;-)
-- Rob Michaels (sonofdust@happy.holidaddys), December 24, 2001.
The Seeress.... my thoughts exactly Rob! :-) (Thanks for checking in!)Merry Christmas to all FRLians!!!!!!!!!!!!
And now, from an old Elvis song:
"Give thanks for all you've been blessed with, and hold your loved ones tight... For you know the Lord's been good to you, on a snowy Christmas night."
-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), December 24, 2001.
Hmmmn. A message from the lost one.
-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), December 24, 2001.

-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), December 24, 2001.
AH-MAZ-ING!! (and may I say you look Maaaahvelous at 3 dahling). It is TRUELY hard to believe that it's been 3 years since we opened up the can of fruitcake because we needed a little comic tension relief...
Who can forget the Drumstick studded Assault fruitcake
or the Fruitcake Catapault
or the fruitcake Baricades
or the Fruitcake Circus...
-- no Elephunts please (grease.p@int.anon), December 25, 2001.
Merry Christmas, all!!!We had only about 14 here today - a very small crowd for my family. We had much laughter, many hugs and more food than we could eat by far!
I hope all of you had as wonderful a Christmas.
Tomorrow we have Christmas again with Hubby's family. I shall try to eat more cautiously, so that I don't gain back *all* the weight I lost before Christmas!
It's very nice to see hellos from Cascadia, and from California (or is it New York now?) Merry Christmas to you, and to all other lurkers.
Anyone interested in meeting up in Florida can contact me at the address below, and we'll discuss details.
I have some haiku to share, but it will have to wait 'til Friday... this is a busy time!
-- Tricia the Canuck (jayles@telusplanet.net), December 26, 2001.
I know...I know...I'm the kind of relative that pops in a coupla' times a year...bad breath, wrinkled clothes, ugly Christmas sweater, and a small box containing a very heavy, very fruity cake. But, I have the best of intentions –
Please take this fruitcake as a token of appreciation. Congratulations FRL : )
I'll be back when I can't stay longer.
Best wishes,
Mike =================================================
-- Mike Taylor (mt4design@hotmail.com), December 30, 2001.
Hey Mike!!!Nice sweater, buddy (snarf). Just kiddin'; it's always good to see another fruitcake. Maybe you could drop by twice next year, and buy an iron, OK?

-- Lon Frank (lgal@exp.net), December 30, 2001.
Hi Mike!!! Just for you I have some fruitcake-flavored Listerine. ;-)Have a Happy New Year and come again real soon, ya hear?
-- Gayla (privacy@please.com), December 30, 2001.

-- Tricia the Canuck (jayles@telusplanet.net), December 31, 2001.

-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), January 01, 2002.
