I have just stummbled across this interesting little forum, and although i haven't been able to read it all i find such a collective curiosity quite enthralling. Apologies if i am about to repeat a previous posting but i thought it might be interesting to you all to hear of a very singular artefact that can be seen in London - i hope. Essentially, when i visited the British library when it was in the british museum they had on Display Lady Jane Grey's Bible, it was, i recollect very small, perhaps the size of a playing card. The truly special detail however was that jane had made notes on the pages whilst in the Tower. quite moving and in the original Middle english
