I'm thinking sodium chloride, if you consider mining and purification to be manufacturing. I have no idea how many tons would be processed each year, our guess is 250-300 million tons.

There are 40,000,000 tons of Hydrogen Sulfate manufactured per year in America, most of which is used in fertilizer. I was late in posting this due to drown phonelines.
