What critter has the largest brain to body size ratio?

At work early, before my kids go to school. We all agree it has to be a very small animal, our guess is a mouse. Polly

My husband thinks it is either man or a dolphin.

We had a girl's sleepover last night, so I took a survey of their answers. Here are the results: Sarah H. says Mouse, Shelby says mouse, Amelia says mouse and Sarah T says Prairie Dog. I would say squirrel. Who wins the door prize?

-- Jo (, December 07, 2001.

I think it's an ant.

Cheryl, actually it is two cousins and an uncle (once removed) but I will accept ant because it is correct.

New Question: What worlds record is held by being more than 31,950 feet?

-- mitch hearn (, December 07, 2001.

How about skydiving? Polly

-- (, December 07, 2001.

The numbers given are the worlds record; the American record is 19,484 feet less, set in 1896; still not fitting in a search engine is it? The world record conserns mulitipual, the home record is single. I am setting here bored and I heard Wallyworld has an icecream maker for one quart, that is a working unit, in the toy department, catch yu'all in a couple of hours.~

I just got back from Wallyworld with the Baskin Robbins ice cream maker - what a dissappointment- its $.40 cents worth of plastic and it works with their mixes. A gallon of ice cream would proabily cost more that $25.00, my advise is to leave this one on the shelf. And for your clue, the records were set during weather study.

Height of a storm cloud? Longest recorded lightning strike?

-- Judi (, December 07, 2001.

The answers are the highest recorded kite flights; in 1919 a Germain 8 piece unit flew the highest and in 1896 a single American kite went up for weather study.
