Beseler 23c ll Blue manual?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Printing & Finishing : One Thread

I just recieved my Beseler 23cll blue enlarger but I do not have a manual for it. I have a somewhat idea of how to operate it but I would like a manual to be sure. Anyone know where I might get a manual for it or can some one just hit the high points for me, like where do I set it for 35mm and how do I check and align it? Thanks

You might try Beseler.com. They've always been very helpful when I've needed help. The manual shouldn't cost much and will answer your questions.

I'm sorry. Their real address is Beseler-Photo.com.

I have a copy of the Beseler 23CII-XL manual. Don't know if it is for the blue model or not (I own an Omega and not a Beseler, but just happen to have this manual.) E-mail me your address and I'll send it to you as either a hard copy or on a CD in pdf format. Just return the favor to someone in the future.

color will not make a difference in operation. THe basic change one can find from 23C's to 23C will be the size of the lamp and its socket. Other than that they all work the same. Check the condenser head placement to be sure it is in the position. this is found on the side of the condenser head.

I have found the 23CL to be very easy to use, so easy that I can utilize it in the dark. As far as the owners manual, well, i am a dude and true dudes don't need instruction booklets.

Hope this helps
