Well its for sell at the badger graphic website! It only cost $1300 but its sounds really good! Anybody with some loose change buy it and tell us how it is!

Thanks for the link Christopher, interesting head, but even at the sale price of 1300 is too much for me..I think I will stick with my pan head..:-))

It indeed looks really cool, but $1300? That seems over the top, even for Arca-Swiss.

Robert White sells it for a little cheaper for non-Americans. The head probably won't make it to Canada because its a high end, low demand product. Only a few would probably get sold a year. I can't see the dame thing in person. I might have to go to a camera show in Germany or NYC. If anyone actually gets to use it please tell me about it. It will probably be available in the speing.

I spoke with martin Vogt at Arca-Swiss about the C1 late in the spring of 2001. Arca knows it will be a very low demand item and will really be useful or practicalonly for certain limited purposes. i suspect that the head is mainly designed for photographers workingin the virtualk reality or Quicktimeareas.If you think the C1 is expensive, try pricing geared heads for for movie cameras.
