PalTalk, anyone?

Is anyone registered on PalTalk? I just got in to hook up to family. Seems to be a right good service. I'm on as JRandal, in case anybody wants to touch base.

Is this like Yahoo? I have no idea. My aunt came over and did it for me so we could talk while I was on line. I am tring to get the rest of the family to do it so we can actually talk. I have a really cool microphone!!!

Michaele, it is similar, but people I talk to say it's offers superior service. For some reason, Yahoo cut my audio, and I thought it was some problem in my computer. I signed up to PalTalk and, pronto! I was talking in a few minutes.

Just a note: PalTalk was created for IE. I use Netscape, and that causes fits. But I can still talk. Haved to open up IE if I want to change my profile or such.

A friend tells me gnometalk is made for Linux, through which you can talk PC-to-PC, no service site needed.
