MANY sites on the internet have this story. Many book anthologies, but I suppose you have looked. A decent bookstore will have one. Try www.eapoe.org for a good version plus a list of variants. Poe had some travelogue stories about Norway. Though the Maelstrom is exaggerated(you can go to the Flakstad and Moskene website to get the real scoop)Poe gets very scientific and detailed to make it appear totally real.
