What's the difference between ebay and half.com. When is it more advantageous to use one over the other (items, genres, as a buyer, as a seller)?

Ann, I have been selling and buying things on ebay and am quite impressed. On the other hand I have had two transactions with half.com and have paid for two items and never recieved them.I am still tring to get answers from them. So in my personal oppinion I would stick with ebay. It's more people friendly and you have direct contact with actual people.

Ann, I've bought a couple things from both places and I prefer half.com. I buy only from people with high ratings and good feeback and have received everything promptly. I like half.com because I know if I get something and what I pay for it up front. It's not an auction, prices are set and you buy right then. No waiting or getting slammed, like I did on ebay when school clothes shopping. But you can't get clothes for your kids on half.com, so ebay has advantages too.
