Sorry jayesh, i cannot help you directly. even i have got a Canon EOS 300 from germany. and i am still in germany. but i had no problem in getting the english version of the manual. infact, i got it immediately in just 2 days. i called the main canon office in germany for the manual. they send it the next day and i received it on the 3rd day. may be you can call the canon office in mumbai and ask for a english manual.

Hi Jayesh

Try getting Canon Rebel 2000 Magic Lantern guide. This is an elaborated version of Rebel 2000 user manual(Rebel 2000 and EOS 300 are same cameras with different names). User manual of Rebel 2000 is useless! Instead get this. You can get it from Amazon.com. Use this link to get a cover picture of the same from Amazon.com http://images.amazon.com/images/P/1883403626.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg Search with key word "Canon Rebel 2000" to get this book.

It cost US$ 13.96 + Shipping and Handling @ Amazon and it is a good book for learning more about your Rebel 2000.

Good Luck George Mathew

yup, i have to agree with george, the manual could be better.

but if you really want to get hold of one try www.manualsrus.com (i think thats the address anyway) - costs something too, but probably not 14 bucks.

Hi

That is a good site! Thank you for the info Carl! I checked the price for Canon EOS 300 manual there in it. It cost 11$ just for the soft copy (download). But comparitively Magic Lantern guide is much more descriptive and contains more information than user maual. So the additional 3 $ that you spent for Magic lantern guide will surely a worth deal. Let Jeyesh decide. I would still prefer to go for Magic Lantern guide, because I have both manual and Magic Lantern.
