Just thinking ahead. On our new very old farm there is a root cellar. It a nice size with a bilding over it. Part of the floor is missing and the steps going down, suddently disappear. The trash will definitely have to come out. What advice would you give on fixing this cellar up, besides the obvious? Thanks

I suggest you read the book "Root Cellaring" for ideas. I have it and it is a good book that covers nearly everything you need to know. I would also like to talk to anyone who has experience with using a solid storm cellar as a root cellar.
