I'm here. ;o) Just been working on decorations with the kids. Also been hearing there are lots of new viruses, so have not been on as much.

ALSO, I heard on the news about three weeks after I posted "Iron your anthrax?" that it DOES NOT WORK. So I have been trying to be careful what I post. :o) Sorry. There is a lot out there on the net.

I guess everyone's been busy w/ the holidays and all. I've been spending all my spare time working in the barn on the old red tractor and doing general clean up. So much to do, but never enough time. Hope you all are doing well.

I've been wondering the same thing. BTW, I received two emails today, supposedly from Lesley and Hoot. Evidently they are viruses so y'all watch out!

Did someone start a secret forum??? I must admit that I am rather reticent to express anything that isn't towing the line...which is most stuff that I seem to think. The thought police have new tools and powers and are seemingly happy to use them.

I've been gone for a few weeks with a thirty two hour return. I tried to go on line once, but the connection kept dropping so I figured it was just as well. I did catch a few bits of propaganda on the telly at my folks.....ugh. Homework assignments issued nightly at 5:30.

Hi, Doreen, I don't partake of the tube, but can you tell me if they are truly ignoring the "antiterrorism bill"? I've been hearing, on public radio, that the Telly reporters are not doing much coverage of this issue. NPR isn't doing as much as I'd have expected, although individual shows' moderators have had lots of programs about it.

Hey Joe, NO!!! They aren't talking about it at all that I heard. This was just the Nightly News with Dan Blather or one of those talking heads. Shortwave is talking about it and Ron Paul sent out a newsletter regarding the fact that the congressmen were NOT ALLOWED to even red it before voting. I will get that posted on here in short order.

We've just been busy a lot lately. Colicking horse, puppies out the ears, stray donkey that won't leave here, freeloading cousin's cows that get in and eat my hay because he "doesn't have the money to buy any" (he's driving a new car--mine's 12 years old), trying to sell puppies and leaving the phone line open in case someone wants to buy one, although so far, it's been a no-go. We've been trying to get some form of heat in the house besides just the bathroom heater. The oven on the cookstove seems to be permanently dead, and not just hibernating this time. All this stuff takes time. So far, I think we've lost about a month in totally non-productive activities since the first of October. Also, I'm like Doreen---one must be so careful about what one says now that it makes it hard to talk.
