A question for Mitch.

Mitch, I believe that you mentioned feeding gelatine to dogs for aid their joints. YOu said a half of a thimble a day. How big is the dog? Our dog, Goldie weighs in at about 75 pounds and I wondered how much to feed him. God bless!

Ardie, my dog was about 75 pounds also and in his old age he got stiff in the joints. I found out about the gelatin from a tape called Dead Doctors Don't Lie, I do not remember the man who made the tape but he was an exotic animal vet who went on to become an M.D. I gave my dog 1/4 of a sewing thimble of gelatin per day at first, then to every other day after seeing results and finally twice a week as long as he lived.

The KNOX gelatin is collegen, the substance you use to make jellies and jams. It is scraped from the insides of beef and pork hides, it is what the body needs to make cartledge, the padding between joints. It is organic and allmost neutral for taste. I take it myself about twice a week for my knees, same amount. =o=^..^=o=

I take Knox gelatine everyday for my fingernails. I use a whole envelope with a bouillon cube. I didn't realize it was good for my joints. Thanks!
