My husband says Mickey Mouse, but I seem to remember something about Felix the Cat...As usual we're on opposite ends of the answer...Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Yes, it was felix the cat in 1927, so the new question is: Who was the actor whom did not take an offer of a lead role in the movie "Star Wars" because he thought the plot was too simpleistic?

I spent my whole multimedia class, trying to figure out the answer, i searched every star wars sight possible. I cried, i yelled, i jumped up and down, and i threatened to hit someone who got in between me and the puter. YOU JUST wait, when my brother gets home.....I'll know the answer.

Jillian, your doing it wrong! You don't search the Star Wars site, you search the actors site, that is as soon as you figure out who he is, (hehehe). There for a minute I thought you were going to sic your brother on me.....

Nah , he's sick all by himself. Actually, his guess was about the same as mine. Sean Connery. Only because he was in those high flutin movies way back when...sorry ya'll.

Logical guess but wrong, and what were you doing in school today? Are you one of those people? You know....live in Upper America!! The actor went on to make a movie with car chases and big trucks instead of Star Wars and this was about the time you were learning to walk.

Big trucks and car chases...could it be Burt Reynolds? He was pretty cool in those Smokey and the Bandit movies, but they would really have been nowhere as good without Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason,( and Sally Field--pipes in the husband;>}

A warm and fuzzy for Debbie, (don't tell him I sent it), tomorrow a new whacker for anybody able to seek an answer. Sorry Jillian, your just too young and inexperienced....

Yeah I'm a Canadian EH!! I know a lot about movies, and thats why it bugged me so much. UNEXPERIENCED. BAH HUMBUG..just didn't have the right clues, if i had seen it before, i might have known.

You know, Mitch, I had the same thought: What's Jillian doing in school on Thanksgiving day? I've been in Canada over a year now, and have enjoyed Thanksgiving in October with Jillian's family twice now, and I still had to wonder why she was in school! Old customs die hard, I guess; we had Thanksgiving dinner with Jillian's uncle in New York yesterday.

And, yes, I KNOW this post is off-thread, but I figured it wouldn't hurt since the questions have been answered and the day's over.
