Has anyone used this new device? It sounds impressive and uses the same encoding chip as the ProVideo PV256. I'm only concerned about the USB interface slowing it down. Any experiences out there?

Any USB ver 1.0 video capture device should be treated with suspicion with regards to full-resolution (720x480 or 704x480), full-frame rate (29.97fps) capture, with MPEG-2 or 1 or any AVI codec.

I Personnally own the product I think its great I record tv shows dvd's vhs tapes camcorder footage it will send anything with a video source to your computer I suggest It ita a good buy just to expensive and by the way there is about a 8 second difference between what you are recording and the actual video source but it is still very smooth you can make vcd,svcd or dvd's and it does everything in real-time that is very important
