Fuji GS 645S Wide: How good is it? How much the cost?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Camera Equipment : One Thread

I have been thinking of acquiring this camera as a good tote-around street camera for street shooting with excellent depth of field.

I'd like to hear how those who have used it like it. Would it work well as a street camera, using its range focusing system for maximum depth of field?

Also, how much should one cost in excellent used condition?

Thanks.

I own one. Makes great photo's. It's the lightest of the medium format. But two problems. Sometimes the uptake spool winds the film to loose. Sometimes the internal split field mechanism will freeze. The potics are great. using a polarizer is difficult. I always use a tiffen 812 Good luck, Robert
