Just For Fun

What is your favorite food, the one you would just not like to live without??? Mine is pizza, I just love it fixed just about anyway! I love to make home-made crust, and cook the sauce with tons of spices and garlic. Then layer on all the toppings , and melt a little cheese over it. You can spend a lot of time perfecting the perfect pizza!! My oldest daughter is great with the crust. Her crust always seems to be very light. Well that's mine, put yours on with some hints or tips about how you prepare it!

(I decided to stick with "JO" cuz "Joanne" is just not me) I love pizza, too. My favorite is mushroom and black olive. I am still trying to find the perfect crust recipe. Mine always rises too much so it is more like foccachia.

It's a toss-up between pizza and chicken. Home-grown chicken especially, oven-fried. And my nephew makes a good stuffed-crust pizza.

Spaghetti! With lots of hamburger, garlic, onions, mushrooms and a THICK tomato sauce (No water on the bottom of the plate for me). Add parmesean cheese . . . mighty good grazing. When spaghetti is cooked (add salt and a little olive oil to water), rinse noodles with HOT water and drain well; suppose to remove excess starch.

Awww, now I'm really hungry! Have a good weekend all.

Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia, there, I've said it. Two of my closest friends are Ben And Jerry, lol. My biggest problem is that I live so far out in the boonies that no one has ever heard of them! It's a 50 mile one way drive to get a pint.

Mine is simple. For years it was anything my Mom made for me. Now it's that and anything my daughter makes for me. ;o)

Beans. I just can't get enough of them. When I was pregnant with my second, I ate beans almost every day. I drove my husband crazy going to the fast-food taco place for borritos at almost any hour. That was back in the days when they stayed open past the sidewalks. lol. Beans. Yup, just beans.

beef. Particulary roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy of course. Also japanese style curry beef or a good ribeye steak. I think I could live without any certain food but I'd sure hate to be without coffee.

Chocolate, and chocolate, and oh, chocolate! (My husband once accused me of being a rabbit though, I eat so many fruits and vegetables - of course, that was before I had kids - now I just eat their leftovers!)
