Leica No. 194751

I have a very old Leica No. 194751 with a Leitz Elmar 5cm 1:35 lens. Where can I get information about the camera, year of production, manuals , accessories, and value?

According to the list at cameraquest.com, yours is the 101st Leica II from one batch of 200 built in 1936 - 194651-194850. Since these lists are based on literally hand-written factory logs, they aren't always exact. The fact yours falls right in the middle should improve the odds that it's correct, though.

This should be what yours looks like:

There;s lots of other fun Leica stuff on that site (as well as this one ) =8^)X

Alan, there is some more info on screwmount cameras at Christoph Ozdoba's site at www.ozdoba.net.leica. Have you tried actually using this camera, or have you just got it? A bit tricky, but fun.

David's link should be:
