I had 10 pounds of raw peanuts given to me. I'd like to know how to salt them in the shell. It's probably something simple but I need a little help with this. thanks Herb

My understanding is they are put into a brine under pressure to forge salted brine into the shell, spun at high speeds to force out the moisture and then baked/dried while tumbling.

for home making,, just try soaking them in a salt/brine solution for while,, and if you crack them with your mouth,, your going to get some salt off the shells.

I boil mine in brine in the shell, then roast em.
