I'm getting an error message "incorrect function" while playing a vcd through media player under windows NT. the file has a .dat extention but it shows Yahoo Messenger's icon. kindly tell me a solution for the problem.

Answers

Open your media player, go to TOOLS, Options, Formats and tick the file types you want to open in Media Player (*.DAT).

Or you could just open Media Player, and browse to the file to open it.
