Prayer Request

My son-in-law is at the Mayo clinic, will be having brain surgery to correct epilepsy caused from a childhood injury, on this coming Tuesday. The surgery is supposed to take about 6 hours. John has had many tests over the past few months to try to pinpoint the problem, as he had two childhood head injuries. The doctors have discovered what they believe is the area causing the most damage, they have a 70% chance of correcting the problem with this surgery. If not, he'll have to undergo another surgery later on.

John is a real blessing to our family, good work ethics, cheerful, a wonderful Christian and a good daddy to his 3 yr. old daughter. He has been quite limited by his epilepsy, cannot drive a car, etc., not to mention the continual damage caused by his seizures. It would be wonderful to see him healed. Please pray for him, my daughter (who is with him and far from family support) and also our little granddaughter who is missing her mommy and daddy. (She has been with us for several weeks now while they've been gone.) Thanks.

Thanks so much, all of you! I have a pretty good relationship with the Lord and tend to kind of keep up a running conversation/prayers with him all day long, but when a crisis hits, I feel so much more at peace knowing many others are praying. Thanks again, will let you know any news as soon as it comes in.

I will be praying that the operation is successful! You sound like me with the "conversation running through your head", I feel like I am always saying a prayer in my thoughts!! Best wishes to you and your family, and your grand-daughter especially.
