my partner and i are interested in an introductory hike with the club, however, have only been able to find old october hiking schedules in the summit hut and popular stores. do you have an online schedule of hikes? are the new/november schedules out yet? how can i get that information so i may investigate and join a hike? thanks for your prompt response to this inquiry.

It is difficult to furnish the public with our current hiking schedule, as our hikes are geared to SAHC members. I think the best way to find out about current hikes would be to attend a program meeting and our newcomer meeting and pickup a current bulletin at that time. The times and location are available on our website on the current events page. We do not furnish non members with bulletins as the postal regulations and our status as a non profit organization controls the number of bulletins that we publish and mail. If you are serious about hiking and are interested in the SAHC hikes I would encourage you to join the club. We have approximately 100 guided hikes each month. Thank you

Bernadette, you didn't mention what city you are in. Are you referring to SAHC? If so, drop them a card and they'll likely send you the info.

If anyone has phone numbers of contacts for hiking clubs, maybe they could post them.
