I don't know that answer, but I do know that when I say "I have to run to the store" I actually mean "I am driving to the store" Why do they call where planes take off a runway? Why do we say that water runs? And the running time of a movie. And a runny nose. Ah, the English language!

The answer does have to do with an object "running", but its not in the action sense. Keep plugging away, i'm sure you've all still got a full tank of thought left!
