They shut down my local post office this morning after finding a small amount of anthrax in the back work room. It is in Northwest Washington, DC.

This is hitting a bit too close to home for me now.

I am working at home. From my place, I can't see any other houses, just forest. The guy, about 1/2 mile to the north, raises pygmy goats. Looked out of the window a few minutes ago. There were about 20 going through the back yard. They escape on a regular basis. They don't bother me, but they are a hell of a thing to catch. We will need to import Helen.

We are the number two state in beef cattle production. If I drive down the gravel road that I live on, I will see herd after herd. The anthrax organism is everywhere. I don't remember a case of the disease here in my 26+ years. At least not in humans. They won't add much to what we have with a letter.
