The most likely source of ADDITIONAL anthrax spores to be dealt with are infected rats and mice which die within hours of exposure, and one big rats body would turn into probably a 1/4 pound of MORE ANTHRAX spores to be dealt with and spread by other vermin. Some one ought to put out a special warning to the public to look for and take special care with dead vermin and I think some of these dead mice and rats ought to be tested for ANTHRAX. The CDC seems to think once spores hit the floor the potential for harm is greatly reduced, but I dont think they considered the potential for vermin to multiply and spread the disease.
