when i went to apply for a home mortgage the loan officer wouldnt even take my application. he said because i had 2 collection items on my credit he said i wouldnt qualify until i paid them. I tried to expalin that these are old and i do have re established credit. but he refused to take my application and submit it to underwiting....this doesnt seem right...can yoiu givve me advice..thanks
