During the video capture, I use RGB 24 bit, 16 bit as well as YUV format. When I capture in YUV format the dropped frames are very very low. But with RGB 24 bit capture the dropped frames are high. It was also observed that the display of the video when capturing under YUV is little poorer than to the RGB 24 bit capture.

I would like to have more details on RGB & YUV capture and wish to thank if somebody explain well.
