You have just received the "UGA Virus".

Response to Virus

You were not funny when you started on this forum and you are less so now. I am requesting of Ken and Dave that you be blocked from posting to this forum in the future, and that a complaint be filed with your ISP. I believe that there are rules governing threatening and harassing posts using the Internet- fortunately I have never had the need to look into this before, but I certainly will now. I think that you have worn out your welcome here. Please move on.

Response to Virus

I second that!!

Response to Virus

I agree that binjr is an annoying troll. However, this joke is one that has been making the email rounds for at least a couple of years. I've also seen it called the "Amish virus". FWIW

Response to Virus

The problem with bin jr as I see it is that the purpose of his posts is not to entertain, but rather to annoy, and the fact that he has continued to do so after many other posters have asked him to stop raises the level of his posts to that of harassment. It is illegal to use the Internet for the purpose of harassing others, but I think that bin jr has not considered that fact because he obviously thinks he is so funny. People on this forum have bent over backwards in tolerating his inappropriate foolishness up until now. I, for one, am tired of it, and find this latest post grossly inappropriate. If bin jr cannot govern his own actions and limit himself to posts that are of interest to the general readership then he should leave.

Response to Virus

I think bin jr should go play in the traffic.

Response to Virus

OK, guys, you can fry me, but this once it seems bin jr may have made a genuine attempt at lighthearted humor. This virus thing was quite funny to me the first time I saw it (a couple of years ago), and I'm willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. If he honestly thinks it's new to us, then maybe he's just telling a joke like so many of the rest of us do. What do you think?

Response to Virus

L knew this joke was 2 years old. I knew the people that got it 2 years ago that deleted the files would get bent out of shape when they seen it again.hahahah so funny

Response to Virus

Folks, I think it is obvious bin, jr. doesn't have much of a sex life. He is probably typing with one hand while doing something with the other which involves a back and forth motion. Simply don't respond to him, since the reaction to what he says is what he is looking for.

-- Ken S. in WC TN (scharabo@aol.com), October 28, 2001.

Ditto what Ken said about responding. I find it amusing to read that the 'people on this forum have bent over backwards in tolerating his foolishness'....geez, I wonder what you people are like when you're NOT tolerant!! No wonder he keeps doing it; what fun he must be having gettin you all in such a dither!

Every computer forum has to have a "Joel", I suppose he's ours :-)!!!

-- Annie Miller in SE OH (annie@1st.net), October 28, 2001.

After reading some replies to different post lately I must say, bin jr has more tact and grace than they have! why are folks so grouchy and just plain ole mean spirited lately?

-- Bernice (geminigoats@yahoo.com), October 28, 2001.

I think it's funny.

-- witness (getagrip@hotmail.com), October 28, 2001.

I am affraid many of you have not read Bin's posts since alot have been deleted before many of you can read them .Why aren't we tolerant ? The ASSHOLE thinks it's a big joke that thousands of inocent men , woman, and children died ! That's the first thing he started with , I don't think we need anything else .

-- Patty {NY State} (fodfarms@slic.com), October 28, 2001.

I agree, Patty...the fact that thousands of innocent people have died and it's NOT a joke! But this guy IS a joke and a jerk. He obviously has the intelligence of a two year old and has no understanding of the deaths that have happened. Most children don't understand death! Just ignore this "person", let him rant and rave and he'll go away after awhile :-)!!

If all of you quit posting responses you'd get your way. Personally, I'd not heard the "honor system computer virus" and thought it was funny. Calling it the "Amish virus" reminds me of an old joke.

What goes, "Klippity klop, klippity klop, klippity klop, BANG, BANG, klippity klop, klippity klop?"

An Amish drive-by shooting.

I heard this a year ago, only it was an Aggie joke.

I have not read any of this young person's comments. But, it is obvious that Bin is very young and immature. That is the kind of person who finds it amusing to be repetious, childish, and annoying to adults. I believe that ignoring him/it would be the best course of action. Maybe, it will find another web site.
