Hey!!! Welcome back everyone!

I just wanted to say that I will set up a alternate board on yahoo when I have the time and then post the link here. i heard a rumour that there was some kind of virus going around that was attacking servers...particularly of forums. This is NOT substantiated and I haven't had the time to try to find out whther it has any truth to it or not. Any one else have any idea???

Hey Doreen! I heard the same thing. A friend tried to access some of the Lusenet forums and her virus alert most jumped off her puter. She won't even try now as she's afeared of gettin a virus in her business puter. I don't blame'r a bit--but my Norton doesn't show anything.

I thnk your idea of an alternate site away from lusenet would be a good thing. I like the format of Lusenet but seems it's down quite a lot. Suppose it's because it's so popular.

Oh good!!! Glad we are up and running again for a while anyway. My Nortons hasn't alarmed or my zone alarm. The CS newsletter said that they were just having "crash" problems.
