A tornado touch down in MI last night, not too far from us. We had terrible winds and a lot rain then the temps dropped. Today we have been under "high wind" warnings - it's a bit hard to keep the car on the road. I just returned from feeding and watering the animals and it is definately "winter" outside!! - but then, I love winter (most of the time)!!

Has there been wind everywhere today??? The chicken tractor flipped over, leaving 17 chickens huddling in the cold wind and rain. We had just put garbage out and had to go chasing it all over everywhere. The recycle bin flew into the neighbour's soybean field leaving cans, glass and plastic all over the place.

Hi Everyone! We're having Indian Summer here on MD's eastern shore. Just marvelous! Warm days, cool nights, who could ask for more? It is coming to an end, though. We are expecting temps in the 20s this weekend.

Glad to be back. Definitely windy, and getting cold quick. Up until today it's been in the high 70's, today low 60's and getting down in the 30's tonight. We could have our first frost tomorrow night. Supposed to work the fences tomorrow, but my FIL and BIL canceled (YEAH!), thank goodness we won't have to be out in the wind all day. We're going to do it next Friday, so hope it warms back up. Winter is on its way, which just means cold here, no snow before end of December. Hope you get snow this weekend, if you are ready, Melissa!
