Screw that. Im not going to try to stop that law, infact i hope to god it passes. People in this country are already pissed off enough. If this law passes, its just one step closer to serious changes in this government. Supression is all people need to join together.

Passing that law would be TERRIBLE for the ECONOMY and for RACIAL EQUITY.

Teh rave lifestyle is an essential and vital evolutionary function for creating an UNDERCLASS of (formerly) middle-class WHITES that, as a result of raving, will be relegated to low paying job markets and service industries. Lawmakers should know that teh rave is an excellent tool to MANIPULATE this population and insure that there are an ample supply of LOSERS and BURNOUTS to supply these markets. The void that is left creates economic opportunities for MORE DESERVING PEOPLE and this is good.

Have a nice drug, erm, day. LONG LIVE TEH RAVE!

yes... I know. I thought so. Thank you.

Ok, for one, suppression is not the answer. ANYONE HEARD OF SLAVERY? Slavery is suppression that's worth money. That's it. Yes, I am sure we would join together if suppressed, but that would only bring hate into the problem. Wasn't the original idea of raves just to have fun and chill out for a few hours? Ticking more people off won't help anything. You don't fight with anger to get your way! Fight with your brains! Instead of doing nothing, do something to prove raves are worth keeping. Give them a reason to let you keep your raves. One good way is to say it's raves or doing something even more unintelligent that could piss them off. Annoy the living hell out of them with letters of "concern". Use your brain. Out smart the enemy! Yelling and bitching like a two year old (or pouting for that matter) won't change anything. Grow up and piss them off with "consideration".

what's up ppl? I'm sorry but I personally think that fighting the govt on this is both a waste of time AND bad for the scene...look at it like this....if they pass this law, and you hear about an underground party in an abandoned warehouse downtown in the industrial district and only a select few DJs will play, and there are only gonna be about 500 people there AND it's only gonna cost you $5.00 bucks to get in, WITH no security, but it's illegal so we might get busted, and that'd suck....and all the rest...if you heard about that AFTER the anti-rave legislation were passed, would you go? If you answer yes, then good...if you answered no, then we don't need you anyway...you don't belong to the scene if you can't hang when it goes under....that's the kind of cosmetic surgery our scene SO badly needs...once it goes back underground, the only ppl at the parties will be the truest of party kids...all the kids that just heard about all the drugs you can get at raves on Dateline or 20/20 and decided to come, won't be there...all the punks that like to be all tough and start shit....they won't be there....just the party kids.....and it will be much less commercialized because no major companies want to be in the illegal spotlight...so I say yes to anti-rave legislation...and when the parties go back underground like they used to be, I hope I'll see you there... later on kids...

and remember that PLUR isn't just a cute little candy phrase...In the words of Frankie Bones in Boston in 1992, "live love..."

First of all, ECONOMICS plays a large role in drug policy in every country. With tonnes of people who don't want to go to school, or earn their money, the drug trade becomes a welcome source of income. As the underground economy takes money from those who earn it and pay taxes, and turns it into 50,000 dollar cars and other luxuries that our government has to make up for and raise taxes on goods consumed by the average consumer, Neo Hippies complain about drug policy in the canadian government. ME- for one.. thinks that taxes should be levied upon people that do nothing to support our economy, and live from it. They should be forced to physically labour, because they thrive off living on us. Why should we have to work hard and long hours to support alcholics and drugs addicts? Why should we have to spend long hours working to let panhandlers beg another day?
