Answers

As a youth, I read his book, 'Walden'. I traipsed around the lake. I dreamed of possibilities.

As an adult, I know that he lived a couple of miles away from his Mom. Brought home his laundry. Depended on others for hot cooked meals and other things. Only lasted a few years there.

But, he was a wonderful writer. And he did give many generations food for thought.
