Does the Constitution mean anything to anyone anymore?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread

It says we should protect our borders. It does not say we should go running after wimps. If we protected our borders we wouldn't have to!

And, what about that 1976 ban on U.S. participation in assassinations? Why do people keep forgetting that one?

You're kidding right? Please tell me you are joking! You got to be the one that stuck that flower in the barrel of that soldiers M16 back in 69. Are you still wearing your hair in pigtails and shuffling along with them leather thongs? I hope your brother is that proud and brave Army Ranger that's going to draw a bead with his POWERFUL SCOPE on that bin ladin SOB and drive his drippy nostrils out thru that instantaneous big red hole in the back of his head. And I truly hope that dirty beard gets sucked in with it.

Yes, I love our Constitution, and am very sorry to see it being trashed by Dubya the puppet and the NWO fascist elite that he serves.

You are absolutely correct, if we would take more care in checking out the people who we allow into our country, and clear up the problems we have within it, we would have nothing to worry about. But the goal of the NWO is not about this country, it is about The World. At this point in time, the United States is possibly one of the most valuable tools at their disposal. But still, only a tool. If you are letting yourself believe that they should or will care about the Constitution or the welfare of the people, you are sadly deluded. We are simply a means to an end, and nothing more.

Everything happens for a reason. These types of events are allowed to happen, in many cases even arranged to happen, by the CIA and various NWO lackeys in our government. Watch what happens afterward, and the reason becomes clear... these events cultivate the conditions which will ultimately allow the NWO to achieve their goal of total global domination. All the World is a stage, and most of us are just mindlessly dancing to the pulling of our strings, mere puppet servants in a Grand Power Play.

Nightmare - how would you propose to stop it? If we're puppets and the die has been cast, then there's no going back, right? If it's HERE, in our faces, then the best we can do is figure our how we fit into the grand scheme of things and how we can still make a positive difference within the confines presented. If you've got a better option I'd be receptive to hearing it.

Of course we're puppets! That is why people get up and go to work everyday. Everybody has to dance to someone's tune! There isn't any evil scheme behind it; that's the way the system works!

This should not be a black and white, Repug against Democrap, issue. This should be an American issue. Are we going to recognize and abide by the Constitution or not? THAT is an issue that should be bipartisan.

Boswell, I'll put you on record as not agreeing with the Constitution.

-- (Thank@you. very much), October 14, 2001.

Don't put me down on record as not agreeing to the Constitution you simple shit. If what you're referring to is "not assassanating somebody" as being an Amendment, I'll agree with that 100%. We ain't over there trying to assassinate Bin Laden, whe're just goin to kill the Son of a Bitch in self-defense!

"how would you propose to stop it?"

It starts with awareness. There are a lot of people who see what is happening but they aren't sure if they believe it. Many believe it, but they are afraid to speak up for fear of ridicule. Don't be afraid to speak the truth about what you see, it is real. Pretty soon there will be enough people who speak the truth that they cannot be denied. We will be able to stand up and demand that our government does not play along with the NWO because we do not want to dominate the planet. We like the diversity and culture that belongs to independent countries. We are a sovereign nation. We don't want terrorists knocking on our door every day. We want to be left alone and leave other countries alone to be who they are. When enough people are fully aware that we are being manipulated, and make a conscious effort to change it, we will be able to take the power back. We The People, are the ones who are supposed to hold the power according to our Constitution.

we do not want to dominate the planet.

Yes, our government surely does! They have an economic interest to do so.

We don't want terrorists knocking on our door every day.

Nobody does but just wishing it away doesn't stop it. We're now experiencing what the rest of the world has lived with on a regular basis for quite some time. Why would you think we'd forever escape the realities that they've known?

When enough people are fully aware that we are being manipulated, and make a conscious effort to change it, we will be able to take the power back.

So far I'm only hearing rhetoric. You still haven't offered *specifics* about your Grand Plan to achieve "awareness" and taking the power back. How, exactly, do you propose to accomplish this?

And what's this stuff about "It says we should protect our borders. It does not say we should go running after wimps." I don't recall reading that in the Constitution. Remember the Marine Corps anthem: "from the Halls of Montezuma to the Halls of Tripoli"?

We've been blowing up suspected foreign terrorists for almost 200 years now. Remember the USS Constitution "Old Ironsides," the historic frigate now moored in Boston Harbor? Her mission (or one of them)? --

"Constitution joined the Navy's Mediterranean squadron for the first time in September of 1803, and remained there until October 1807. Her mission was to protect American shipping in the Mediterranean on which the Barbary corsairs were preying. In August 1804, the American Navy massed enough ships to attack the heavily defended harbor of Tripoli. American ships bombarded the harbor and engaged Tripolian vessels five times during August and early September 1804."

What we're doing in Afganistan is just a new variation on an old tune. One we've danced to successfully for two centuries now.

LOL!

Who said anything about a "Grand Plan"??!

I have no grand plan. Did I say I had a grand plan? I don't think I did. I'm not real big on controlling other people, or even plans to control other people.

All I was saying is that people should trust themselves to believe what they see, and do not be afraid to speak the truth. Believe what the government does, not what they say. I have faith in humanity, I believe that people will eventually see the truth and change things for the better.

Of course there will always be some people like you who think that our government is so superior that they deserve to run the world, even though they have not yet proven that they can even successfully run this country. I believe in humanity because I believe there are more people who are not like you than those who are like you. These people may be afraid, but they will eventually come around.

Fuck that. Go over there ice the bitch bin ladin and end this bullshit then level that fuck of a country

-- (killem@dead.zxc), October 14, 2001.

As long as we have "lawyers" like Porter, who view history like a Disney movie, the shit will continue.

In Porters world, anybody in "authority" can perform any extra-curricular activity and pick and choose parts of the Constitutition they like best, as long as they pledge allegiance to the flag.
