I have just received a Brownie Hawkeye that is dirty around and in the lense and viewfinder. I need to know what is the best way to clean the camera without damaging it.

Kelly, There is a method of cleaning your BH camera right here on the Brownie Camera Page, or rather you can link to it from here - go to "The Gallery of the Brownie Shooters", and click on Chuck Clemens's name - that will take you to his website, and from there you can link to a really well-written, fully illustrated article on that very subject. I've used this method myself and it works.
