Tamworth Hogs

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Does anyone have a guesstimate about the total number of Tamworth hogs that are here in the US? How hard is it to get breeding stock, cost of stock, and does anyone know of any breeders in the NE Missouri area?

Thanks in advance for the information!

Kent, Check out www.showpigs.com. I don't think any of these breeders would have tamworths but check out the links. You may be able to find something there. Also maybe try the rare breeds conservancy - don't remember their web address, but you should be able to find it in your search. Let us know what you find. Joanie
