The weakness of this forum is that the software that runs it can't prevent anyone from stealing a "taken" handle. So there can be imposters. The only way to combat this weakness, seems to me, is to ignore posts that seem substanceless, inflammatory, stupid or uninteresting.

If you try to have a conversation with 'someone' and the other party fails to hold up their end in a civil fashion, just stop. Don't respond. Let it drop.
