FATWA IS OVERDUE

ISN'T IT OVERDUE FOR THE MUSLIM LEADERS AND SCHOLARS THAT CONDEMNED THE WTC ATTACK TO PUT THEIR MONEY WHERE THEIR MOUTHS ARE AND ISSUE A FATWA AGAINST SO CALLED MUSLIMS THAT CALL FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST THE UNITED STATES, U.K. ET AL.?

If Islamic scholars won't do this it doesn't matter what the Koran really teaches, because the sheep usually follow their shepards. If one or several fatwas don't appear rapidly, a thorough reassessment of today's Islam should be in short order by the leadership of the free world.

You are kidding, right? The leadership of the "free world" (Bush et al.) created and setup the Taliban and ObL, with a little help from the so called Muslim countries of Pakistan and Saudia Arabia, who happen to be on the same side as the "free world". If he's a monster, he's an American monster, armed with American guns. No Muslim gvt ever called him a hero, and none is going to issue a fatwa. The US gvt has killed more innocent people by supporting the wrong guys (Pinochet, Somoza, Suharto etc.) than Obl will ever.

So if a Fatwa is due, it should be issued against those who armed and fed Obl: US, Pakistan, Saudi.

ObL is as much a Muslim as Tim McVeigh was a Christian.

Smart move by the Bush administration today in putting out the Wanted Posters for the twenty two most vicious terrorists in the world, with a $5 million, each, bounty on their heads. This deflects the thrust of bin Laden to label this a Holy War, and gets the focus back on what it really is: a war against terrorists.

The war on terrorists is gonna be just like the war on drugs. I think 911-01 is gonna be remembered as the date that western civilization went over the top.

With a 90% job approval rating for G.W. Bush, and a 95% approval of the attack on the Talibon, why is it we are getting all these weirdos lately? In numbers their repugnant harangues are out of proporton to the Law of Probables. How did they find us? Patriotic American citizens assuredly they are not.

I wonder if those Wanted Posters included George's dad? Oh, and perhaps the person posting about "patriotism" would like to be the one to administer the patriotism test. He would surely have enjoyed Joe McCarthy's company in the '50's.
