Taliban warn traitors of dire consequences

Updated on 10/6/2001 10:58:12 AM F P ReportPESHAWAR: Afghanistan ruling Taliban has decided to burnt the houses of those Afghans who will provide any help or information to US against the integrity and sovereignty of the country, Mulla Abdul Rauf Arif said in a press statement issued here.

He said that different nationalities of Loya Paktia have decided to burn the house and punish those Afghans acting against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and has established contact with the foreigners especially the US.

The Taliban government has dubbed such Afghans as servants of the Americans.

Mulla Rauf further said such people would be expelled from the country.

He claimed that there has not even five persons in Loya Pakita to support Zahir Shah because they are of the view that the former king had not express sympathy with the Afghans at all who laid their lives for the sake of the country.

Khost Governor further added that Zahir Shah had stated that he was proud for not talking part in the Afghan Jihad but now he has been using US support to grab power in Afghanistan.

The Governor warned that Afghans will never allowed a puppet and servant of foreigners to rule Afghanistan.

He dismissed that pro- Zahir Shah Sardar had not had influence even over his famil.

The brother of Sardar has contacted him and denied the remarks of his brother.

He said that those who have been expelled from Loya Paktia and are now unleashing such a baseless propaganda abroad are making such observations, he further added.

He reaffirmed the commitment the people would remain sold rock and proud their sincerity with Islam and Muslims all over the world.
