Speedlite 277 T

I have a Canon T-70, but have lost the original T277 speedlite. What modern flashes can i use with the camera and, if not, where can i get a good Speedlite T277 ?

Thanks - Gopal

I don't know where you live, so I'm not sure I could recommend a place to locate another 277T. They might be hard to find. KEH and B&H Photo are two reliable dealers that have good used departments and might have one or more. They also come up for auction on Ebay and even Yahoo Auctions. In the end, Ebay is your most likely option, there's six of them being auctioned right now.

As far as other flashes that will work for your T70, there are lots of them. My local Walmart sells a Vivitar unit for less than $20 that has no dedication to any camera but would work fine on yours. You would have to set the aperture & shutter speed yourself, but it would then have auto flash exposure. It also has a head that bounces & swivels, that's more than the 277T did.
