All I can see is that a lot of people have no self-control and seem to want to talk about inane or boring subjects. But it is still pretty easy to ignore that, if inane or boring subjects don't appeal to you.

May I suggest not rising to the urge to answer an inane or boring post would solve a lot of the problem?
